Someone asked if I could post that lick John Hughey did in this Conway Twitty song. Don't remember the key Conway did it in, so I tabbed it in E; just to be safe.

Ricky could you tab out the turn around in Conways Lost In The Feeling? I've played this alot and would like to see how close I am....Thanks

Wow D. I have never attempted "Lost in the Feeling". Actually; I don't even have the record. I love that solo John played, as I'm sure everyone does. When I get back to the states, I'll try and find it and give it a whirl. If your already playing it, why don't you post what you got. Maybe between everyone posting that solo; we can all come up with that deal note for note. If I remember right; it sounds real tough. Hey John Steele; do you have the chord progression for that song? That would help alot. See ya guys.

Ricky I've never attempted tabing anything on the forum and this would'nt be the tune to start with. I play the song in A and I start the instrumental in the 7 chord at the 6th fret then play the 2 chord then on to the 5 chord 7th going from the 7th fret sliding back to the 5th fret and then it goes to the 6 minor at the 5th fret,to get the next chord I drop back to the 4th fret and play strings 45$6 with A&B pedals down,then to the 4chord at the 5th fret and slide to the 10th then the 13th and on up to the 17th fret,I hope this will help some and sorry I had to type this much out...Thanks

I worked that song out back in the late eighties; and it was a time-consuming process. The chord progression is not that
hard, but John Hughey uses alot of embellish-
ments in this song that are not real easy to
hear or to pull off.

Kevin you're right,I work on it alot myself but I got it really close,Iwould like to see John tab it out then we would really know but for now guess I'll have to play it my way.
Iwould try to tab out the way I play it but I don't know the easiest way to go about it since I've never tabed out anything on the forum and like I said earlier this is'nt the tune to learn how..Thanks
