Hi Ricky,
I've been noticing a common thread through your posts in here....
I have to assume you don't raise your 1st string 1/2 tone? Did Lloyd?

Hey John; I use to raise my first string a half tone on my Emmons; but my Sho~Bud is just four knee levers and I like it like that. I just pull the string if I want the half tone; and I really have no use for the full tone raise on that string(never liked that change). Lloyd has had that half tone change on and off through the years; and I don't think he uses that raise with the knee lever much if any at all. Now that I don't have all the changes on my Sho~Bud, as I did on my Emmons; I am digging finding out just what I can do with bare bones pedal steel playing; and I have to tell you; I love it.
