Volume pedal repair in Seattle?

Post by Pete Martin »

I have a Fender volume/tone pedal. It has a scratchy sound at the very start of any movement to higher or lower volume, enough to make it unusable on gigs. I have taken it (4 times) to a place in Seattle that has always done good work for me in the past, but each time I get it back, it has the same problem.

Does anybody have a suggestion for someone in Seattle to take this?

Thanks,
Pete

Do you know what work has been done in the "4 times" they have worked on it? Seems it needs a new potentiometer.

Are you the same fellow who advertizes in Fiddler Magazine?

Surely you've tried different cables to isolate the problem to the pedal.

Yes, cables make no difference.

How about Emerald City Guitars? They have a great rep for finding and fixing all things guitar.
