Emmons p/p set screw size??

Post by Hiro Keitora »

Folks, you know, there is a set screw with 5/64” Allen head at LKL knee lever for angle adjustment-
( when you fold the lever, you see a set screw in bracket side) Can anyone tell me what size they are?? ( I mean, size like 6-32, 4-40, thread size and the length)
Many thanks in advance!!

8/32 = 4/ 16 = 2/8 = 1/4.

Colin,

Australia uses the more sensible metric measurement system than the measurement system we (still) have in the U.S. :)

An "8-32 screw" is a common, small machine screw in the U.S. system, where the "#8" indicates its diameter (about 5/32 inch or 3.96mm) and the "32" signifies its thread pitch, meaning there are 32 threads per inch (TPI).
